Situation analysis

The purpose of this task is to perform an analysis on the state of the art STI, IL innovative potential, state and levels of R&D investments and relationships between research and industry.

The purpose of this activity is to gather material and knowledge available and analyse its transferability or usefulness for the actors concerned.

The aim is to establish status quo of expertise available versus the needs of the universities and identify gaps in knowledge.

This assists in the design of concepts and allow for elaboration of topics and materials needed to strengthen STI capacity, research and linkages.

In addition, gaps in laboratory requirements of partners are identified.
